In September 2008, SpaceX became the first company to put a satellite into Earth Orbit using its own Falcon1 rocket. As per Elon Musk, rockets should be reused after launch which can help in minimizing cost associated with space travel efficiently.

Initially, many space experts considered it impossible but in December 2015, Musk again created history when he managed to land Falcon rocket back onto the launch pad. As of now, the ongoing project of SpaceX is Starship, a spacecraft which is designed to launch all the Lunar-orbit, Earth-orbit and other interplanetary missions.

It also would be able to carry humans into space. Moreover, Elon Musk mentioned in his biography that his next target is to establish a Mars colony with a population of more than 80,000 people by 2020. Of course, it sounds difficult, but who knows!

What normal people do when they are stuck in traffic? Patiently wait to clear the traffic and vehicles start moving? Curse the drivers or traffic police as if it will help in disappearing the traffic or repeatedly sound the horn? You must be doing one of the above things when stuck in traffic. But, do you want to know what Elon Musk did when he was in traffic? In 2017, when he stuck in traffic, first he tweeted that traffic is driving him nuts and he is going to build a tunnel to escape from this situation. He established a privately funded company intended to fix the problems occurred by 2D transport system. He named the company Boring Company.

Elon Musk wanted to create tunnels or tubes under the ground to minimize the occurrences of traffic jams. These tunnels were supposed to have electrically powered autonomous vehicles with speeds of almost 250 km per hour. People can use these underground tunnels to travel from one place to another. The high speed of these vehicles would decrease travelling cost, traffic jams, and commute time. Also, it will help in minimizing greenhouse gas emissions. Currently, in United States there are several such tunneling projects are under progress including East Coast Washington D.C. to Baltimore Loop, The Chicago Express Loop, Las Vegas Convention Center Loop, and Dugout Los Angeles Loop.
